Grá sweatshirt in aid of the Irish Refugee Council
From June to August 2020, I ran a charity campaign in aid of the Irish Refugee Council. I donated 20% of the proceeds from my Grá sweatshirts to the IRC, to help fund their work with refugees and those seeking asylum in Ireland. The Irish Refugee Council provide supports and services to those who have had to flee their homes and have travelled to Ireland. They do absolutely incredible work, and I was delighted to be able to raise some funds for them.
I chose the word ‘Grá’ as the slogan for the campaign as Grá is the Irish for Love, and that’s what we need to show people who have endured so much and have turned to the Irish people for help and support.
The campaign ran from June to the end of August and raised over €224.40 for the Irish Refugee Council. Thank you so much to everyone who bought a sweatshirt and helped raise funds.
(The Grá sweatshirt is still available on my website, but is no longer in aid of the IRC)
